All HYBRID classes have a ZOOM component and an in person option. In person classes are at 915 Grosvenor Avenue at the Yoga Centre Winnipeg, Studio B
Monday 9:30am ALL LEVELS HYBRID is suitable for students who have previous yoga experience. We explore a diverse range of poses including inversions in this class. There are options for those students where inversions/other poses are not recommended.​
Monday 11:30am ALL LEVELS ADAPTIVE HYBRIDThis class is great for anyone who wants to build up strength, mobility, balance and alignment in all the major joints of the body. It is challenging and also supportive. It's good for people new to Iyengar Yoga, people with previous injuries, people over 50. We offer adaptations for all sorts of conditions and really learn how to approach the practice in the best way for our own bodies and minds. is suitable for beginning students, older students and those who are recovering from injury.​
Tuesday 7:00pm HEALTHY BACKS This class is good for hip and low back issues, upper back issues and neck and shoulder problems. We focus on poses that restore proper function to these areas and can often improve mobility, stability and strength, thereby reducing pain.​
Wednesday 8:00am PRANAYAMA This class teaches us how to consciously breathe and over time fully realize our breathing capacity. Prana is translated as breath and also as energy. Through the cultivation of our breath and our energy we become more sensitive, lighter and more content. This practice helps us to turn inwards and observe. Through this practice we learn how to soften and surrender our body, our mind, our self. This practice can be very transformative and helps us to face life's challenges with more ease.​
Thursday 9:30am HEALING CLASS HYBRID We start this class with resting poses to refresh the body and mind and then proceed with a variety of approaches to support a balanced mind, body, and breath. We focus on different aspects of the practice as it relates to healing such as creating more space in the organic body, how to make slight adjustments for our own conditions, exploring ways to support emotional health as well as physical aspects. There is an element of a therapeutic approach to the class so that we honour our own path.
Friday 9:30am MONTHLY WORKSHOP SERIES ( 8 CLASSES IN TOTAL RUNNING MONTHLY FROM OCTOBER TO MAY)
